is the founder and manager of an artisan workshop based in the slum district of Kibera, Nairobi. His socially innovative efforts have helped launch several successful local craft development projects throughout Kenya, including the drought-stricken northern Turkana district, and other East African countries. These projects teach hone and bone carving techniques and helps trainees attain the machines, materials and market access crucial to their future success. The technical expertise and high quality craftsmanship of his artisans turn Kora's designs from sketches to reality.

has been the production manager for Bemos Craft Developers for three years. Her interest in art led her to start working at Bemos, where she was drawn to the pieces they were producing. Staying true to the entrepreneurial spirit of Bemos, she eventually wants to start her own craft-based business.

Joseph has worked in many artistic mediums over the years-- his current focus is particularly on wood but he is also an expert brass craftsman, and executes Kora's hammered brass designs.
